General Manager

About the Job

We are looking for a technical leader, someone capable of leading a technical sales team and rolling up their sleeves and contributing as well.  The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic component distribution and an understanding of what it takes to find, develop, and close new opportunities throughout North America.  This person has worked directly with design engineers and understands the process of getting registrations and working with customers on their development from concept to production win. 

The ideal candidate has the ability to help set the sales strategy for the company, work very closely with our key manufacturers, build relationships with Manufacturers Reps across the country, and take the lead on periodically traveling to customer sites to present our solutions, support ongoing developments, and troubleshoot issues to help get projects into production as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

Requirements

  • 4-year technical degree or comparable technical sales experience, EE preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years electronic component/semiconductor sales or FAE experience with either a manufacturer or distributor required.
  • Sales management experience preferred, but demonstrable experience setting sales strategy for major accounts required.
  • Experience with circuit board design or troubleshooting a plus.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting in front of a technical audience.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; highly organized.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Competitive attitude, drive to succeed.
This position is based in the office in Clearwater, Florida.

Sales Application Engineer

About the Job

We are looking for a technical sales leader. Someone able to find, develop, and close new opportunities throughout North America. Work directly with customers throughout all phases of their design/development process providing the support necessary to get them to market as quickly and efficiently as possible. Be the key technical resource by either providing the information needed or managing the information flow from the manufacturer’s engineering team to the customer. Periodic travel to customers will be required to present products for new design as well as support existing customer developments and troubleshoot issues.
